Liptov village museum

It is not only an ordinary museum with one exposition. Enter the lively village full of wooden dwellings and utility constructions that were relocated from the flooding area of the Liptovská Mara waterwork. Building of a school is interesting and its interior is interactively filled with the period teaching aids. We cannot skip the dominating feature of the complex – the gothic church of Virgin Mary. The museum regularly organizes creative and adventure workshops, tours and open-air museum with historic locomotives and own railway and presents habits and customs of Liptov.
