Water reservoir Cierny Vah

Čierny Váh is a water reservoir in Liptov serving as the biggest water power plant in Slovakia. Entering the immediate vicinity of the upper reservoir is prohibited due to the safety reasons. At the moment it is considered to be the most powerful water power plant in our country. The reservoir is interesting mainly thanks to its location – it is situated on the top of the hill, 1160 metres above the sea level.
